Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback actress, singer and musician. Her work is primarily focused on Tamil or Malayalam films. Her debut as an actress was the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam, and her Malayalam debut was with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born in the same Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu.Andrea's dad is an attorney at the Madras High Court. She has one younger sister who lives and works at Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah grew up near Chennai she attended National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea started classical piano lessons at age eight years old, was classified as being a "geek" and wanted to become a psychiatrist until the 12th grade exam. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style group she was a part of at age 10, was her foundation for singing and composing music. At her university, she was also an actor and appeared in stage productions that were put on by The Madras Players. Andrea was the President of The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started her acting career as an infant performer in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. The year 2006 saw her starred in a brand new advertisement for Leo alongside actor Shiva. She has also acted in a TV show which aired on Podhigai. She has appeared in various shows throughout India. She was in a small character in the finale in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham is a character in the film. Menon contacted her following the fact that she had performed in the Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu film to be featured as a lead character in Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea plays Kalyani who is married and mother of a man with an affair. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani after Simran Shobana Tabu and other actors were approached. This film released in early 2010. In 2011 she agreed to play a minor supporting role which was released in early 2010. Venkat Prabhu's film with a number of stars Mankatha which came out in August 2011. Annayum Rasoolum directed by Rajeeev Ravi, the romantic comedy film she debuted in Malayalam with was released on August 11, 2013.
