Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow, born in Cologne to Christian parents, had three sisters and brothers. She was 17 when her parents split up. After their company collapsed and she was left with problems with finances. The problem was made worse by being anorexic or bulimic. About her decision to quit as ARCH ENEMY's singer Gossow said simply There's a time and place for all things. The first time I was on the road was in 1991. I was enjoying life on the road was fading. It was easier to just quit than to keep playing. The frontman from the beginning of the band, Johan Liiva was replaced in 2000 by German singer Angela Gossow.
